Practice Assessment
• Map current workflow using observation, surveys, staff interviews
• Inventory current IT infrastructure and provide guidance in selecting vendor for hardware and network support
• Provide detailed analysis that includes operational characteristics and corresponding priorities
EMR Implementation and Support
• Develop an implementation timeline in conjunction with EMR vendor and IT vendor
• Design transitional workflows, procure necessary hardware, and provide vendor with necessary data
• Coordinate training schedule, assist with system set up and template development, provide on-going training to staff, assist with care management initiatives
EMR Planning and Selection
• Identify EMR system priorities, prepare RFPs and develop project timeline
• Compile vendor comparison chart that assesses functionality and fit for the practice
• Facilitate selection by engaging staff in demonstrations, providing practice specific scenarios and cost benefit analysis |
